However, several years ago I rode a 1994 Suzi 600 Katana. Went to one of the bike shows here in Seattle one year and saw this product. Up to that point I had been using messy PJ-12 chain lube. Bought the ScottOiler and over the winter, installed it on my Suzi. Instructions were straightforward and easy to accomplish. Set it up a nice drip which was sufficient for lube but miserly in its oil consumption. I really liked that product. Now, I'm planning on getting another motorcycle soon... after our daughter is married off!... and when I buy the bike, one of the first things I will do is get another ScottOiler. No muss, no fuss. Surprised, though, that the sales person I talked to today at Honda had not heard of ScottOiler. Advertising needs to improve, I suppose. Anyway, I'll be a repeat customer.. even if it is a 30% increase in the cost since I last purchased it.

Well I surprised myself by answering a resounding yes! In terms of time saved messing around manually oiling it offers decent value for money and I now have more time to ride my bike.

Initially I followed the advice on the instruction and cleaned my chain prior to fitting and I can now wash my bike down normally with no fling on the wheel but also no gunk build up on the visible part of the chain - just oil where you need it, in the centre. I am converted and find that extra half hour saved in the garage very nice indeed.
