Following a disappointing weekend at Monza in 2010, during which Daisaku Sakai experienced a torrid foray onto the world stage, plus racing plans disrupted by volcanic ash clouds, Yoshimura Suzuki will again be back in World Superbike at the start of this season. The Japanese team will be on the grid at the opening round of the season at Phillip Island, with a wild-card slot for Australian rider Josh Waters.
22 year-old Waters, 2009 Australian Superbike Champion on a Suzuki, has won over 80 national Dirt and Long Track titles in his career and will be making his World Superbike debut.

The 2011 ZX-10R features class-leading performance and electronics, and Yoshimura have announced the release of an R77 Performance End-Can developed specifically for Kawasaki’s flagship sports bike, which boosts power in open form and offers considerable weight savings over stock. The R-77 End-Can uses a trapezoidal-shaped sleeve, maximizing muffler volume, while offering a sharp silhouette. There are two options to choose from; the R77 End-Can alone, that bolts straight onto the stock exhaust system, or the R77 End-Can with ¾ link pipe, which dispenses with the catalyzer. Both are designed and approved for circuit use only.
