Designed to deal with whatever the rider and the weather throw at it, the Spyke Cruiser jacket is packed with features, including: removable thermal and waterproof liners, a tough 600 denier outer shell and CE-approved armour, the Spyke High Visibility (SHV) system for safety in low light conditions, and no fewer than eight front pockets (four of them waterproof), plus a large rear pocket and five internal pockets. The Cruiser is available in S - 3XL, in black/black, white/black and red/black, at an RRP of £299.99.
New from award-winning wholesaler The Key Collection, who distribute Weise clothing, Spyke apparel and Draggin Jeans in the UK, Milano Sport is the company's own-label range of entry-level helmets. Selling at prices between £34.99 to £99.99, this all-new collection includes both open and full-face models and a flip-front too, all offering the essential features demanded by today's riders. All of the helmets are manufactured to ECE 22.05 (the current Europe-wide standard for motorcyclists' protective headgear) using ABS, a type of thermo-plastic noted for its impact resistance and toughness.
Spyke chose a Dutch name for their new sport/touring short jacket, presumably because the Italian clothing specialist associates Northern Europe with rainy weather! Reisgenoot means “travelling companion” in Dutch and this light and flexible waterproof jacket is comfortable for long days in the saddle. Manufactured from tough 600-denier textile, the Reisgenoot is treated with 'non-stick' Teflon® to resist rain and stains and beneath the surface is a waterproof drop liner. There's also a detachable thermal waistcoat inside for cold days, chilly morning starts and cooler evening rides.
