News has just hit my desk of the incredibly sexy looking new gloves by British clothing and armour firm, Knox. The Knox Gloves range is to be unveiled at the 2009 NEC Bike Show in November and December. Initially four models of Knox Hand Armour will be available; the full track specification HANDROID, sports-rider orientated BIOMECH, classically-styled RECON and waterproof ZERO.

Avon Tyres will release a successor to the phenomenally popular Storm ST family of sports-touring tyres at this year’s International Motorcycle and Scooter show which takes place at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre, later this week. The new Storm 2 Ultra builds on the enviable performance of the Storm ST and improves upon it in a number of areas.

Royal Enfield has announced plans to invest $13.8 million in order to double its motorcycle manufacturing capacity. "We have so far invested 650 million rupees in our Chennai plant and will invest a similar amount to raise capacity to 100,000 units a year from the current 50,000," Group Chairman Siddhartha Lal told Dow Jones Newswires.

Fantastic items on offer as UK importer helps to raise money for Riders for Health Phoenix, the UK distributor for Arai helmets, will hold a charity auction at the NEC Motorcycle and Scooter show on Saturday December 5, 2009. Starting at 12.00pm on the main stage in the Arai Entertainment Zone (Hall 2), the auction will consist of ten quality items that will go under the hammer to raise money for Riders for Health.
