Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Suzuki's iconic GSX-R Superbike is dominating the new-look British Superbike Championship, with no less than three now filling the top six slots in the showdown phase of the coveted series. With current championship leader Tommy Hill the first to be confirmed for the showdown phase on his Worx Suzuki GSX-R1000, Relentless Suzuki by TAS racer Michael Laverty quickly joined the elite pack before teammate Alastair Seeley topped off the Japanese manufacturer's dream team.
Suzuki unveiled three brand new models today at the Intermot Motorcycle Show in Cologne, Germany, with the iconic GSX-R range getting all-new 600 and 750 models, along with the debut of a new naked middleweight - the GSR750. Unveiled on the Suzuki exhibition stand at 9.00am local time, the new GSX-R600 boasts heightened performance levels thanks to MotoGP inspired development that has seen the new bike shed an impressive nine kilograms over its predecessor, thanks partly to an all-new chassis that has a 15mm shorter wheelbase, as well as Showa Big Piston Forks.
The last in a special trilogy of GSX-R limited edition machines will be released from the 1st of June as the 25th anniversary GSX-R1000 becomes available for reservation. With just 25 bikes coming to the UK out of only 1,000 being built worldwide, this unique model features a bespoke white colour-scheme with special GSX-R anniversary logos, numbered top yoke plaque, Yoshimura 25th anniversary exhaust cans with engraved end plates, laser-etched wheel rim graphics and a certificate of authenticity.

Suzuki GB PLC, in exclusive partnership with Focused Events, have announced three special GSX-R all-star track days for 2010, laid on to celebrate the iconic sports bike's 25th birthday, with a host of racing stars planned to attend each event.
The first GSX-R Anniversary track day has been hailed a huge success by Suzuki GB and organiser Focused Events, after a sell-out attendance saw over 135 GSX-Rs take to the Brands Hatch track in Kent on Wednesday 7th April. The first of three special 25th anniversary track days this year, the Brand Hatch venue played host to owners of all eras of GSX-Rs along with both British Superbike teams with their riders joining the fans on track throughout the day.
Öhlins Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600, further enhancing the sporting potential of this already extremely impressive supersport 600 machine. The brand new GSX-R600 has been designed to be the ultimate supersport machine with Suzuki concentrating its development focus on the chassis. Having spent a number of years out of the supersport race scene, Suzuki are confident the new GSX-R600 will be back at the sharp end of the grid and Öhlins has developed a suspension package that will allow it to get there.

Following the huge success of the first GSX-R anniversary track day at Brands Hatch last month, Suzuki GB and official partner Focused Events is pleased to confirm a star-studded line-up for the second event at Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk on 19th July, as both Suzuki British Superbike Teams attend once again, along with current World Superbike Championship series leader Leon Haslam and teammate Sylvain Guintoli.
The second GSX-R anniversary track day, in association with Focused Events, takes place later this month at Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk, with an all-star cast of Superbike riders in attendance to ride and offer expert tuition for the day. Taking place on 19th July, the Snetterton event follows-on from the hugely successful debut track day at Brands Hatch in April, celebrating 25 years of the iconic GSX-R sportsbike range.
Suzuki Motor Corporation recently  revealed details of its 2012 flagship Superbike – the GSX-R1000, offering enhanced capability thanks to technical innovations that provide heightened engine and chassis performance as well as weight-loss for the new model. Announced in unison across the world today, the 2012 GSX-R1000 retains its original styling but with a host of revisions all implemented to make this the very best GSX-R1000 ever produced.

Prodigy frontman and Suzuki fan, Keith Flint, finally got the chance to put his new 2011 GSX-R750 through its paces last month, as he joined Suzuki customers for the first GSX-R track day of the year at Brands Hatch in Kent. Flint, who races a specially prepared GSX-R1000 in the Hottrax Endurance Championship, took delivery of the new 750 last month, with the initial intention of turning it into a special track bike, but after riding it on the road, quickly decided to use it for the big road trips he has planned this summer.
