Another nice new brand hits these shores Another nice new brand hits these shores Exan

The Italian manufacturer has been producing high quality aftermarket exhaust systems and silencers in a variety of designs and finishes since 1996.  Where some manufacturers limit the options to just one or two designs per model, Exan can list up to twenty made-to-order combinations of shape, material and end cap for any one model. Exan Silencers are available in classical round, or the dramatic asymmetrical design pictured here, some with a choice of carbon, titanium or stainless steel sleeves.

Every part of every Exan silencer is manufactured within the Exan factory in Milan, to ensure the highest standards of quality control. The production line combines traditional hand-crafting skills and the close attention to detail that Italy is so renowned for, with advanced specialist technology and high quality materials.

Silencers are available from £335 including VAT for single silencers, with complete systems from £573. Many models are available in road approved designs with a removable baffle for the track use.

All Exan road-legal exhausts are designed and developed to optimise the performance of each model. They offer a weight saving on the original equipment, conform to sound and emissions regulations and come with removable baffles for use on track. Racing versions are cat-less and provide higher performance but do not meet emissions regulations for road use.

Price examples for track exhausts:
Ducati Hypermotard 796. 2010-11. Oval Stainless Silencer: £404.
Honda CB 1000 Hornet. 2008-11. 'X-Black' Black Stainless Silencer: £475.
KTM 690 Supermoto. 2007-11. 'X-Black' Stainless Complete System: £650.
