Knox Fastback Gilet Back Protector

Versatile seperate back protector built into a fitted gilet Versatile seperate back protector built into a fitted gilet Knox

Lightweight, unobtrusive and as easy as putting on a jacket, the Knox Fastback Gilet Back Protector is perfect for urban riding, where protection is every bit as important as on the open road. Although journeys are often short and involve relatively low travelling speeds, 72.3% of all accidents involving powered two wheelers happen in urban areas, and of those 85.9% involve mopeds and scooters (MAIDS: In depth investigations of accidents involving powered two wheelers, www.maids-study.eu).

Featuring a strong sport mesh construction, which is lightweight and breathable, with a CE-approved back protector, the Fastback's zip-to-fit design makes quick and easy to put on/take off – important for busy city types.  Raised channels and vents in the back protector help to keep the wearer cool and avoids the build up of perspiration on clothes.

Engineered to follow the contour of the back and articulate freely, the Fastback Gilet offers freedom of movement and ensures protection is maintained in all positions. The unique Honeycomb Plate Design and Inclined Cell Wall Technology in the back-protector exceeds the standard required for EN1621-2. A special low profile cut and a ‘back’ that finishes at the waist means the Fastback fits neatly under a short jacket, while the multi-position waist strap ensures a snug and secure fit, without restricting movement, and helps prevent the protector ‘riding up’ during use. It’s also multi-adjustable for a precision fit.

The Knox Fastback Gilet is available at a recommended retail price of £69.99 (including VAT), in unisex sizes S-XXL. For further information, call Knox on 01900 825825 or visit www.knox-armour.co.uk.
