Standard or fast action selectable with the new 888 Venhill

Venhill, the motorcycle control specialists, have introduced a new version of their popular dual action twist grip suitable for modern racing machines fitted with push-pull twin cable throttles. Offering a choice of 'fast' and 'standard' action settings, the 888 throttle is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly and simply by undoing the two hex bolts securing the throttle body and changing the rotor.

On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles, while on the standard setting there is 90° of rotation, (also pulling 36mm of cable), which is typically 25% faster than original equipment throttles. Another feature that makes the 888 attractive to racers is that it enables them to change the throttle cable quickly, without the needing to remove the throttle housing from the bar.
