TCX have a massive range of boots on offer, from full race to touring and right the way through to commuter and casual styles, it's no real surprise then, that within that range are some perfect boots for warmer and summer riding. With favourites such as the S-Race Air, a perforated version of the standard S-Race boot we previously reviewed along with the waterproof, casual, trainer-esque X-Cube as a starting point they now bring a raft of different models that will surely tempt a lot of you this season.
The TCX 2011 collection has a stylish range of summer boots designed with warmer days in mind, from racing style boots through to a more casual look. From TCX’s racing line comes the S-Race Air, worn by top racers including Randy de Puniet, Michel Fabrizio and current British Supersport Champion Sam Lowes.

The S-Race Air boots have perforated leather inserts and breathable lining to keep feet cool on sunny rides. Safety is covered with TCX’s TCS (Torsion Control System) that prevents excess movement of the ankle when pushed beyond its natural limits, there’s also a polyurethane shin plate, replaceable toe sliders and a calf slider plate. The boot is available in white and priced at £199.99, sizes 38-49.

For those seeking an urban look perfect with jeans, TCX has the brand new X-Miles. The boots made from leather and micro fibre have a padded rear area for better comfort. There is also malleolus protection along with a plastic heel counter, shin plate and an integrated shift pad in the sole. The sole is a brand new touring design from TCX with increased grip and superior stability. The boot is available in black and priced at £109.99, sizes 36-48.

Also new to the collection is the X-Action, a touring boot made from leather and micro fibre with a waterproof lining. The boot also offers a shin plate, integrated shift pad and a replaceable foot bed. Available in black, priced at £99.99, sizes 36-48.

The Jupiter 2 and X-Cube offer a stylish trainer look with the safety of a touring boot, with malleolus protection along with a reinforced heel counter for safety. Made from suede leather and AIR TECH fabric the Jupiter 2 also has a gore-tex membrane lining to increase breathability, while the X-Cube features a waterproof lining. Both are available in black, sizes 36-48. The Jupiter 2 is priced at £139.99, and the X-Cube at £99.99.

TCX also has the brand new X-Ville, perfect for use on a motorcycle and around town. The X-Ville is made from full grain leather, with waterproof lining, a reinforced heel and toe area and there is also a removable shift pad. The X-Ville is priced at £109.99 and available in brown and black, sizes 36-48.

All boots are available now from TCX dealers - to find your local TCX stockist please visit www.nevis.uk.com or call 01425 478936.
