With warmer weather finally on the way, Furygan has unveiled additional products for Spring/Summer 2011. The new items add to the French manufacturer’s already extensive range of leather and textile jackets and gloves and will be available in UK dealers from April. Leather jackets In the leathers range, Furygan introduces the Spyder sports-style jacket. With the distinctive panther logo on the reverse, the 100% leather jacket features stretch panels, reflective piping and removable D3O shoulder and elbow protectors. It also comes with a CE-approved back protector. The Spyder is available in four colour options, SRP £349.99.
The Spyder Vented offers the same features with the addition of perforated leather sections on the front and reverse. It is available in Black/White, SRP £349.99.

The Portland is a 100% leather touring jacket, treated to be water repellent and featuring a removable lining for warmer days. Reflective piping and removable CE-approved shoulder and elbow protectors ensure maximum safety.  The stylish Portland jacket is available in Black with white detail, SRP £299.99.

Textile jackets

Furygan’s textile collection gets an injection of six new jackets for Spring/Summer – including three female-specific models.The Scratch and Scratch Lady touring jackets are 100% waterproof with a Furygan’s distinctive ‘panther scratch’ design across the chest. Both models feature padded removable linings, removable D3O protection in the shoulders and elbows and a back protector pocket. The Scratch comes in Black with white detail, SRP £149.99 and the Scratch Lady is available in Black/White and Black/Violet, SRP £149.99.
The Scratch Vented and Scratch Lady Vented (SRP £119.99) offer the same features with the addition of mesh panels on the front and reverse. Both are available in Black.

The Granit jacket is a smart sports touring model with the Furygan logos on the chest, back and forearms. 100% polyester with PU coating, the jacket is completely waterproof and features a removable lining, D3O shoulder and elbow protectors and a back protector pocket. Available in Black, SRP £169.99. Furygan has also introduced a female version of the popular Trial jacket – the Trial Lady. This longer length, fitted touring model is subtly branded and features reflective piping, D3O protection in the shoulders and elbows and a back protector pocket. Available in Black/White with an SRP of £129.99.

Gloves

The new Spring range includes seven new gloves, with the major focus on racing and female-specific models.
The AFS-10 (SRP £119.99) and Katana (SRP £69.99) are a gauntlet-style racing gloves designed for the track. Both models are constructed of goat leather with a polyester lining with moulded knuckle protection and adjustable cuffs. The AFS-10 is air vented.
The AFS-6 (£84.99) is shorter, cow leather racing glove with moulded knuckle protection and stretch leather panels, while the TD R 04 (£59.99) features multiple stretch panels and a neoprene cuff. The leather and Polyamide TD Windproof (SRP £49.99) racing glove does as its names suggests.

For the female riders, Furygan introduces the Vicky Lady and the Butterfly. The Vicky Lady (SRP £49.99) summer glove is a leather and polyamide mix with adjustable cuffs and an attractive and feminine design. The Butterfly (SRP £49.99) polyamide all-season gloves feature a removable liner and a pretty butterfly print.
