The XR1100 introduced a brand new visor mechanism on a Shoei which is entirely draft-free thanks to the "suction seal" self-adjusting concept. The improved visor system also provides a broader field of vision and features a modified and enlarged Pinlock insert for maximum clarity in all conditions. With rider comfort firmly in mind, the XR1100’s entirely redesigned ventilation system maintains an ideal helmet climate that incorporates a negative pressure system with a special extraction technology to guarantee the effective and continuous discharge of warm air, even at very low speeds. New XR1100 replica for British Superbike championship hopeful Shoei has launched a Tommy Hill replica on its XR1100 helmet. The graphic, as designed and sported by Tommy this season, is a reaction to UK rider demand for a replica and also out of respect to the courage the Kent rider has shown having fought back from horrific injuries to become a main protagonist for the 2010 British Superbike championship for Worx Crescent Suzuki.
