Performance exhaust specialist BOS has developed a MotoGP style slip-on silencer for BMW’s 193bhp S1000RR sports bike. Designed and manufactured in conjunction with the BOS racing programme and fine-tuned on their own in-house testing facilities, the S1000RR silencer delivers a power increase of up to 6.6 bhp compared to the standard can and offers a much deeper and fuller sound throughout the rev range.
Handcrafted in Holland from the highest quality materials, the BOS system is super-compact at just 185mm long and has an extra wide 75mm open-end. It not only looks like a race pipe, but also offers a substantial weight saving over the standard fitment and, because of the minimalist design, offers maximum cornering clearance. Like all BOS exhaust systems, the S1000RR silencer features a removable dB eater, which can be left in place for road use or removed for maximum power gains and a ‘full sport’ sound when on track.

The BOS S1000RR silencer fits directly on the original system and heat shield and comes complete with all the necessary fittings. It does not require any alternations or cutting of the original system and is fully EC approved with the dB eater in place. It is also fully tested for CO and CO2 emissions throughout the complete rpm range. The BOS BMW S1000RR silencer is available in either ‘shot-blasted’ (£349.99) or ‘shiny black’ stainless steel (£399.99) finishes.
