Warning: Do not spray onto brake callipers and disks.
What can it be used on?
It can be used on all materials, the large water content makes it very user friendly and environmentally friendly too. So spray it onto plastics, metals, engine components, hoses, carbon fibre, anodised surfaces it won't affect them. Please note avoid spraying FS 365 on the brake discs, it should burn off pretty quickly should you inadvertently spray them. If you get FS 365 on the tyres don't panic as rinsing the tyres with water alone is sufficient to remove what may have got on there, the FS 365 is water based and therefore is water soluble, so will wash off very easily.
How should I use it?
FS 365 should be applied after washing or after a wet run. A coating of FS 365 will help neutralise any salt deposits on the vehicle. Spray all over avoiding brake callipers/discs and tyres.
Some Hints and Tips
- FS 365 should be re-applied after heavy rain and after washing the bike, thus ensuring there is a barrier layer between the bike and the nasty corrosive stuff like road salt.
- FS 365 can react with road salt, so if you find the bike is harder to clean (usually hosing it when FS protected the worst will just fall off as the dirt is stuck to the FS and not to the bike).
- When FS 365 is exposed to the roadsalt it almost becomes insoluble, possibly needing agitation to remove it, effectively this is just a barrier to road salt and other corrosives.
- Polish FS 365 into plastics it leaves a great finish, I wouldn't personally use it on screens or lenses as it can be a bit greasy and won't offer great clarity.
