Wowee, Bmw's new full fat race bred superbike is making quite a stir across the world right now. Initial reports are that it is fantastic but something inside of me really detests the non-matching headlight configuration and also the same trick with the fairings, I can only hope that BMW invite me to go and take one for a test ride to see if it is really as good as reports suggest.
For the first time since the UK arm of the Superbike school opened in 1996, it will offer an exclusively female session for riders looking to experience Level One coaching.

Around 10% of students who attend our schools are female, but there are many more out there who would like training but feel intimidated by a track environment with guys out there."

MotoGP Fans Celebrate the 4th of July with Debut of Special Edition Motorcycle Monterey, Calif. (July 3, 2009) – Ducati North America is proud to announce the newest addition to its model range, the 848 Nicky Hayden Special Edition. The special edition 848 will be unveiled tomorrow at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Q8Oils supported Ryan Farquhar enjoyed a “fantastic week” on the Isle of Man, bringing home four wins and a second at the Southern 100 races. Fighting off stiff competition from top riders including Guy Martin, Conor Cummins, Michael Dunlop and Ian Lougher, Farquhar was in top form around the 4.25-mile circuit, riding the KMR Kawasaki to victory in both Superbike races and the two Supersport races whilst finishing a close second in the feature Championship race.
In terms of motorcycle racing, the Isle of Man is just about top of the tree when it comes to sustained punishment of man and machine. Riding on closed public roads around the 37 ¾ mile course, riders encounter all manner of conditions from overhanging trees, stone walls and even jumps over bridges. Man and machine against the elements, the ultimate test and one which Kawasaki won in 1984 with the very first Ninja, the GPZ900R.
Entered into the production race in its debut year by Plymouth dealership GT Motorcycles, the GPZ900R had only just been launched in America as the Ninja.
KTM have burst onto the superbike scene with a bike that looks straight out of the concept shop, incredibly aggressive and angular but poised and clearly a weapon at your disposal.
