Ducati UK is to relocate early next year from their current offices in Milton Keynes to new purpose built head quarters at Silverstone Race Circuit. The move to the Northamptonshire track is the result of a lengthy search for premises after out -growing the current offices and also the need to centralise all Ducati UK operations. The Silverstone premises will see a bespoke 8000sq feet facility that will include offices, warehouse, dealer training rooms, a workshop that will service the press and demonstrator fleets (now brought back in-house) and there is the potential for a retail outlet for the sale of Ducati merchandise during major track events.
California Superbike School will run exclusively at Silverstone next year, following massive investment in facilities at 'the home of British motor sport.' Dedicated to the art of cornering, classes will run over a total of 18 dates from April to September, utilising a variety of circuits at the world-famous Northamptonshire track. Term starts on 22nd April, running on the recently upgraded Stowe circuit. There will be opportunities to learn on the 2-mile long Southern track, featuring Hangar Straight, during May and June, while next August the 1.6 mile National circuit, taking in the Northern section of Grand Prix track, will be available for the first time.
California Superbike School will be opening its UK term at Silverstone’s new-look Stowe circuit on 22nd April. Featuring state-of-the-art purpose built facilities, including roof-terrace viewing areas for friends and family who come along for the day, students will enjoy classroom sessions in the briefing rooms, which are designed to accommodate up to 100 people.
Honda’s acclaimed Ron Haslam Race School has moved venue for 2010 to the ‘Home of British Motorsport’ at Silverstone, which now hosts the world’s and Britain’s top-class two-wheel championships with MotoGP and both the British and World Superbike championships.

California Superbike school has moved its European headquarters to the Silverstone Technology Park, following the decision to run UK schools exclusively at the world-famous Northamptonshire circuit. The new 2500 square feet two-level building houses offices, workshop facilities and a new v2mal retail outlet, selling products tested and approved by the team at California Superbike school. Demand for places at the schools remains strong, with the first four UK dates in April and May sold out completely.
An enthusiastic motorcyclist, the Mayor of London’s transport advisor, Kulveer Ranger visited the first Kawasaki “On the Road” tour event of 2011 at Silverstone on 9 April. Keen to speak to motorcyclists from the wide geographical catchment area who turned up in their hundreds for the first of a series of free test ride events to be held across the UK this summer, Kulveer also had time to explain how the two wheeled community are being considered by Boris Johnson as part of London’s transport strategy saying, “The Mayor made it quite clear when he appointed me three years ago that he wanted to introduce the motorcycles in bus lanes trial.

This unique track event will host a range of events and activities at this premier World Championship Circuit. Radio Silverstone has launched a new weekly motorbike show entitled 'On Two Wheels'. Presented by Paul Musselle, who also presents British Superbike Radio (BSB Radio), 'On Two Wheels' will be streamed online at www.silverstone.co.uk/radio/live.html every Thursday from 8pm to 10pm. In addition, 'On Two Wheels' will be broadcast locally around the Northampton track on 87.7FM during specially extended versions of the show, scheduled for Silverstone's MotoGP (June 10/12) and World Superbike (July 29/31) event weekends.
