Ben Spies has been rapidly elevated into legend status in the world of motorcycle racing. The 27 year old Texan scored a hat-trick of AMA Superbike crowns (2006-2008), before moving on to the world stage and securing Yamaha’s first-ever World Superbike title at his first attempt in 2009. Spies is now competing in the highest echelons of racing as part of the factory Yamaha MotoGP squad and is destined for further glory. As with many racers, he has a real passion for cycling, and here Ben is no slouch either, regularly competing at local events back in the US.
