Celebrated worldwide for its scorching speed and effortless agility, the 2010 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade is an established icon of performance motorcycling. As Honda proudly celebrated its 50th year of racing at the 2009 Isle of Man TT, the CBR1000RR’s appetite for victory was insatiable

According to web sources Honda's highly anticipated Concept bike the Evo 6 that was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show is looking as if it is on the shelf for the time being at least. With a stunning and aggressive look, the muscle bike sporting the Goldwing originated 1800cc six cylinder Boxer engine has wowed viewers and until recently it was tipped as 'likely' to go into production to bolster Honda's corner of the muscle bike market currently dominated by the likes of Yamaha's new V-Max and Triumph's Epic Rocket III.

Honda (UK) is delighted to launch two stunning Special Edition CBR1000RR Fireblades – one ‘Hutchy’ and one ‘McGuinness’ – to commemorate the achievements of these two legendary TT road racers. Both bikes feature awesome special-edition paintwork celebrating Honda’s amazingly successful Isle of Man TT campaigns with two record-breaking riders: Ian Hutchinson and John McGuinness. Ian Hutchinson tore-up the record books at this year’s TT races with an unprecedented five out of five solo wins in the Superbike, Superstock, Senior and two Supersport races.
The class-leading and race winning Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade has won an award for ‘Best Used Bike of the Year’. Almost six hundred motorcycle dealers across the country - representing a broad range of manufacturers - voted in the recent British Dealer News motorcycle industry survey, with the vast majority choosing the Honda Fireblade as the best used bike of the year. Reasons for the decision included opinions that the CBR1000RR Fireblade offers the best overall riding package, is a consistent top seller and desirable motorcycle, rates very highly in reliability and quality and retains its value well.
Honda TT Legends’ John McGuinness took part in the fifth annual Salon Privé Concours d’Élegance last week, showcasing his Isle of Man TT-winning Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade in Friday’s Awards Parade. The event is one of the UK’s most exclusive classic car and motorcycle shows with entry by invitation only. McGuinness’ legendary machine was nominated in the ‘100 Years of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course’ class and although it missed out on the category award, it did receive the prestigious accolade of ‘Biggest “Wow” Factor’.

R&G Racing has released the first available Tail Tidy to radically sharpen the appearance of the 2012 Honda Fireblade’s rear end. Crafted from 2mm thick stainless steel for lightness and powder-coated black for a high quality finish, the Tail Tidy is easy to install and comes with comprehensive, step-by-step fitting instructions. Currently the only product of its type available for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR, the £79.99 Tail Tidy features an ultra bright LED number plate light and can retain the standard Honda indicators or be used with R&G’s own Micro Indicators (£27.49).
