2009 Isle of Man TT winners, Dunlop, will be launching the latest addition to their high performance Sportmax range at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, NEC, on 26th November.
Dunlop uses the technology derived from their all conquering race tyres and takes it to the road in the form of the new Sportmax GP Racer D211.

The leading tyre manufacturer agreed a deal with New Era Motorcycle Club and Ducati UK to ensure all bikes racing in the new championship are shod with Dunlop rubber. The series, known as the Ducati 848 Challenge, will be run over eight rounds in 2010, including two televised British Superbike rounds, a round at Misano during World Ducati Week and a long race at Assen during Europe's largest racing festival.

Dunlop has been announced as the title sponsor of the ACU Suzuki GSX-R Trophy. The leading tyre manufacturer has set up a one year deal with the ACU to become the title sponsor for the championship. The championship, which runs from March to October, is designed to allow people to race at a high level on a limited budget. It is open to any level of rider and is both competitive and great fun.

As the Isle of Man start to prepare their roads for the race of the year Dunlop Motorsport in Birmingham are working hard to ensure that all Dunlop riders have the best tyres shod to their bikes ready for the race. In total Dunlop will have 90 bikes contesting throughout the five races in the TT and hope to retain their current position as most dominant tyre brand at the Isle of Man.

As the International NorthWest200 came to a close on Saturday 15th May, Dunlop tyres walked away smiling, with the first place podium finishes in the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport races with McGuinness, Amor and Hutchinson taking the wins. Dunlop riders occupied 11 out of 18 podium places.

Dunlop is proud to announce that they have been selected by Chiltern Transport Consortium following evaluation by Thames Valley Police Driving School to become tyre supplier on their fleet of BMW R1200 RTP fully homologated, police specification bikes. The fleet of BMW’s will run on the award winning Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart tyre.

The Dunlop Tyres Motorcycle division is pleased to welcome Mark Sears to the team as Product Support Manager as of 1st October 2011. The position has been filled internally by Mark who has 23 years of experience with Dunlop. Mark directly replaces Bryn Phillips. Mark began as an apprentice with Dunlop in 1988 and after three years with the company moved into the motorsport division. Over the space of 20 years Mark has worked with a number of winning teams at some of the largest championships around the world including WSB, World Endurance/GP, AMA, BSB and IDM.
