BMW enter the worlds superbike sector with the high spec and original S1000RR that is dominating WSBK racing. With best in class power to weight ration the S1000RR is certain to be a big hit!
Wowee, Bmw's new full fat race bred superbike is making quite a stir across the world right now. Initial reports are that it is fantastic but something inside of me really detests the non-matching headlight configuration and also the same trick with the fairings, I can only hope that BMW invite me to go and take one for a test ride to see if it is really as good as reports suggest.
R&G Racing – the world’s number one manufacturer of crash protection – has now released a fitment for BMW’s new superbike – the awesome S1000RR. The new four-cylinder machine has already enjoyed a competitive season in the World Superbike series in the hands of riders Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus and later this month the road-going version of this stunning machine will be launched at the Portimao circuit in Portugal.
New from motorcycle bodywork specialists Skidmarx, the tall screen for the BMW K1600GT is 10cm [4 inches] taller than the factory-fitted screen and engineered to re-direct the airflow higher over the bike.Designed to be the ultimate European-style performance touring bike, the six-cylinder K 1600 GT has not only an adjustable screen but also an adjustable seat to provide a high level of long-distance comfort. However, tall screens are popular among touring riders as they are a simple and inexpensive way to enhance rider comfort, particularly for long-distance high speed cruising.
