Well for a lot of us the NEC Motorcycle Show offers a glimpse into the delights of 2010, new models and products, gizmos and gadgets and of course the promo girls.. who doesn't like them eh! While 2009 has seen a downsizing by certain manufacturers the show is set to be a stormer with launches aplenty.

Fresh back from this years motorcycle show in London and rested after a very long couple of days I am pleased to report that there is a decent day out to be had - especially if you are a punter looking for a bargain! The main focus in this event does seem to be more trader oriented which is great when so many of you reported high prices at last years NEC and a lack of trade stalls offering a decent range.
Thanks to the adverse weather conditions we are currently experiencing the organisers of the forthcoming Manchester Bike Show have had to postpone the event for the time being, contrary to other sites reporting it has been totally abandoned we have heard the event is hoped to be be reorganised for April 2010.
The recently announced Carole Nash Motorcycle Live event has clearly captured the imagination of the world's biggest and best motorcycle manufacturers with the organisers announcing today that a record number of brands will be exhibiting this year. No fewer than 30 manufacturers have now confirmed to attend the all-new event running from 27th November to 5th December at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. The event will see participation from all major motorcycle brands, including iconic British firms Norton and Triumph.
The revamped Carole Nash Motorcycle Live at The NEC, Birmingham was attended by almost 100,000 people, despite taking place during the worst November weather conditions Britain has experienced for many years. The new-look nine-day event ran from 27 November to 5 December 2010 and has received strong praise from manufacturers, exhibitors and visitors alike. Honda UK returned to the Event after a one-year break and General Manager Steve Martindale has already hailed it a success:
Thousands of bike fans – including model and TV star Calum Best* – braved the freezing temperatures to attend the seventh day of Carole Nash Motorcycle Live at The NEC, Birmingham. Many would be dreaming of escaping to warmer climes on their two-wheeled machines, and what better place to plan the trip of a lifetime that the UK’s biggest motorcycle exhibition? In the Escape Zone sponsored by Yamaha Super Ténéré, visitors can find everything they need to head off into the sunset. Remember though folks, its the last couple of days of this years show so brave the snow and make the journey - we did!
Dainese will be present at EICMA for the 69th International Motorcycle Show, with a world preview of some of its most innovative projects. Dainese will be attending with helmet company AGV under the banner of Italian Legendary Protection; a name that brings together two iconic brands and emphasises the excellence of ‘Made in Italy’. At EICMA last year Dainese unveiled the D-air Racing system to the Milan crowds. This year the road-going version of the air bag system D-air Street, will be showcased. D-air is a technological platform designed and built to protect riders on the racetrack and on the road.
The London Motorcycle Show will host the UK launch of the 2010 Ducati model range as the bright lights of the capital city illuminates an eagerly awaited line-up that includes the hugely anticipated Multistrada 1200. The Ducati stand will showcase the full 2010 range including UK debuts for the Multistrada 1200 Touring, Hypermotard 1100 Evo, 848 Dark, 1198s Corse, Monster 696 ABS and Monster 1100 ABS.
