According to web sources Honda's highly anticipated Concept bike the Evo 6 that was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show is looking as if it is on the shelf for the time being at least. With a stunning and aggressive look, the muscle bike sporting the Goldwing originated 1800cc six cylinder Boxer engine has wowed viewers and until recently it was tipped as 'likely' to go into production to bolster Honda's corner of the muscle bike market currently dominated by the likes of Yamaha's new V-Max and Triumph's Epic Rocket III.
There are many reasons why a bike would not go into production and I am sure that Honda have crunched the numbers to death to calculate its profitability in terms of units sold, with Honda's newly released CB1000 R and Fireblade models making headlines for their design it is nice to see them keeping a family resemblance in the Evo6 bike - lets hope that they decide to go into production in the future rather than canning it completely.
