“I couldn’t be happier with the finished bike,” says Iwan. “I’ve always wanted a Harley so it’s brilliant that not only do I finally own one, but I own one that’s totally unique and designed just for me. I always knew Harley was about individuality but I didn’t realise the extent to which each motorcycle is a blank canvas until Harley-Davidson^® started discussing all the options for my machine with me. The moment I saw the finished bike for the first time was so exciting, I just couldn’t wait to get on and ride.”

The customisation was carried out using the best quality Harley-Davidson^® Genuine parts available, giving it an edgy look with guaranteed quality. The engine was given a H-D Stage 1 tune using the Screamin’ Eagle^® Super Tuner, while the original air filter was swapped for a cool velocity stack and painted to match the slick bodywork.

The wheels will be a talking point for any motorcycle fan – the originals have been replaced with fat, diamond-spoke versions and 18-inch low profile tyres. Meanwhile, the handlebars give the machine an aggressive, pulled-forward feel, with the help of a pair of H-D^® Diamond Black grips and throttle cables.

The overall feel of the bike is vintage – the rear fender has been given a bobbed look and the Harley decal is based on the 1920s version, while the headlamp is a 1930s style. Other additions include a H-D^® Sprung Solo saddle and Diamond Black foot pegs. Following a career focused on speed, Iwan’s emphasis was on style and creating a motorcycle that enabled him to enjoy the Harley lifestyle of riding for fun.
