Donington Park gets a spangly new website

Easy to navigate and book your next fix of racing, Donington Park gets new (web) clothes Easy to navigate and book your next fix of racing, Donington Park gets new (web) clothes Donington Park

As the first full-season of competitive action back at Donington Park nears its end for the year, the Leicestershire venue is delighted to announce the launch of its completely redesigned website specifically built to help race fans and visitors get more advanced information for everything that happens at the legendary circuit. Built by web experts Quiet-Storm Solutions, based locally in Whitick, the new site offers advanced information on all upcoming races, detailed information on track days, general testing and driver experience days, corporate requirements such as hospitality and venue hire, while benefiting at the same time from easy and enjoyable navigation.

Social networking sites Facebook and Twitter have also been integrated in to the site so fans can easily ‘like’ pages, tweet or acknowledge their attendance to an upcoming event.

Donington Park sales and marketing manager, Gemma Toogood, explained further, "While the focus of attention for 2011 has naturally been on bringing Donington Park itself back to its former glory, we've looked at improving all customer facing areas of the Park, and our online presence has been a huge factor of this which we know we’ve needed to develop. With the new website, I believe that fans will be so much better served. Our web site is now a place with far greater detail, that allows our fans, clients and associates to look on-line before having to pick up the phone to us. I’m really pleased with what we’ve achieved with our new site. This is a step in a great direction for where we’re going in 2012!”

Quiet-Storm Solutions, managing director, Stephen Megson, added, "It was fantastic to be chosen by Donington Park for this exciting project. Given its history, everyone in the company was hugely passionate about making this new start a real springboard for the circuit's continued online presence.”

As well as information on all upcoming race meetings, including the forthcoming MCE British Superbike round (9th - 11th September) that stages the first 'Showdown' round of the series, donington-park.co.uk also offers a great photo gallery from the many national and international events staged at the circuit, as well as a detailed historical section too.
