R&G Racing is urging riders not to throw away any old or destroyed crash bungs, but to trade them in towards new items. The world’s leading provider of motorcycle crash protection is rolling out the national Scrappage Scheme across its leading retailers in the United Kingdom immediately.
The promotion, running until further notice, allows riders to bring in any old, marked or ‘used’ main crash bobbins manufactured by any known brand to the dealers listed on www.rg-racing.com. Here they will receive a £10 discount when purchasing a new pair of R&G Aero Crash Protectors or £5 from a half kit. In the interests of recycling, bungs traded in will be used for a sculpture commissioned to be displayed at Motorcycle Live, held at the NEC from November 27 to December 5, 2010.
