In 2009 the tyre giant finished in pole position in all five of the Isle of Man TT races. Extending the successful campaign into 2010, Dunlop is proud to be the official tyre supplier to not only the legendary John McGuinness but also to long standing Dunlop riders such as Michael Dunlop, William Dunlop, Ryan Farquhar, Ian Lougher, Gary Johnson, Keith Amor and Ian Hutchinson to name but a few. The Dunlop team will carry in excess of 1000 tyres ready for the weekend and are expected to go through over 600 during the race week.

This will cover all of the races including Superbike, Supersport, Superstock and Senior TT. The riders will be racing around the infamous circuit on Dunlop D211 GP’s and Ntec slicks. After such dominant success in 2009 Dunlop created the D211 GP into a road going / track day tyre, the GP Racer D211, it uses the same technology as in Dunlop’s race tyres: Ntec, JLB and Multi Tread Compound all culminate to create a tyre which can offer the same amount of grip as the tyres racing around the Isle of Man TT circuit.
