This will cover all of the races including Superbike, Supersport, Superstock and Senior TT. The riders will be racing around the infamous circuit on Dunlop D211 GP’s and Ntec slicks. After such dominant success in 2009 Dunlop created the D211 GP into a road going / track day tyre, the GP Racer D211, it uses the same technology as in Dunlop’s race tyres: Ntec, JLB and Multi Tread Compound all culminate to create a tyre which can offer the same amount of grip as the tyres racing around the Isle of Man TT circuit.
Pat Walsh from Dunlop Motorsport said: “We have just had a fantastic weekend at the NW200 where we occupied 11 out of 18 podium places on offer. We hope to hold on to our title as most dominant tyre supplier at the TT.” Mark Sears from Dunlop Motorsport said “with such a high profile event ahead of us we want to match the huge success we had in 2009. We are fully confident that our tyres, riders and their machinery will yet again provide another race winning package. Special mention to Steve Plater who crashed in free practice 2 at the North West 200. He will be at the island purely in an advisory role this year aiding and supporting television coverage. We wish him a speedy recovery”.
