The low-cost super-tough nylon-based crankcase protective generator, clutch and timing covers are designed to protect the motorcycle in a crash and prevent expensive damage such as holes in casings and oil spillage on road or track. The injection moulding process greatly reduces material stress, (that can lead to product failure) unlike other thermoplastic manufacturing processes.
