Hungarian MotoGP cancelled again in 2010

In a statement released by the FIM Media Service it has been announced that the 2010 Hungarian MotoGP will no longer take place due to construction delays on the Balatonring, a 4.650 km long circuit. This is not the first delay in the launch of the inaugral MotoGP event penned for Hungary with a reported funding setback almost exactly a year ago in 2009 meaning it was taken off the race calendar.
The race will now be held at the circuit of Motorland Aragon in Spain bringing the total number of events held in the country to four this season, here is the press release:

The Grand Prix of Hungary, scheduled on September 19, is cancelled – the construction work cannot be finished on time – and will be replaced by the Grand Prix of Aragon at the reserve circuit of Motorland Aragon on the same date.
