R&G Racing to provide crash protection for California Superbike School Following BMW Motorrad USA's recent partnership with Keith Code's California Superbike School to provide brand new BMW S1000RRs for its rider training programs, crash protection specialist R&G Racing has confirmed that it will be supplying the bikes with a full complement of its award-winning protective products.
Each S1000RR will be fitted with Aero Frame Sliders, Fork Sliders, Cotton Reels, Exhaust Protectors and the new for 2010 Engine Case Covers. Reinforcing R&G Racing's commitment to supporting motorcycle riding and road racing at every level, this proven sponsorship will continue to play an important role in keeping costly crash-damage repairs for the school down to a minimum. In announcing the agreement, R&G Racing's Sales Director, Simon Hughes, said: "R&G are thrilled to continue our two-way working relationship with the California Superbike School.

Keith and his team have been great ambassadors for our products and provided excellent feedback over the years. The S1000 RR is the sportsbike of the moment and our comprehensive and already proven range of protection for this machine will no doubt play a pivotal role at the school." Keith Code, Director of California Superbike School, added: “We've been using the R&G Racing crash protection for several years on our bikes and they've saved us countless dollars in parts. The benefits of these products aren’t hype when, over and over, you see a bike go back into service one hour after a crash instead of three, and, at half the parts cost than if it didn't have the R&G Racing protectors.

The R&G Racing kits for our new S1000RRs are even more comprehensive in crash protection. For road or track riding, it's silly to invest in performance when your first consideration should be protecting the bike and your wallet. I think it is the single most important investment riders should make in their bikes”. California Superbike School chief mechanic, Will Eikenberry, commented: “Being a mechanic long enough to have seen the transition from crash bars to the current plastic sliders, I have used most of them, made some of my own and seen how they work at the track and on the street. I have been using the R&G Racing protectors for the last five years on the school bikes as they are the best combination of strength and protection on the market. The range of protection for the BMW S1000RR is going to be a big help to me”.

R&G Racing is the world’s number one manufacturer of crash protection products and 2009 marked the brand’s 10th anniversary of producing high-quality crash protection and other aftermarket motorcycles accessories. For more information on the R&G Racing range go to: http://www.rg-racing.com/
