Visitors can see the development of leather motorcycle racing suits, the now ubiquitous back protector, as well as the innovative 'air-bag' protection. Enthusiasts can see protective equipment worn by racers such as Giacomo Agostini, Kevin Schwantz, Barry Sheene, Eddie Lawson, Carl Fogarty, Freddie Spencer, Max Biaggi and Valentino Rossi, who have all been protected by Dainese clothing and, in many cases, AGV helmets. Machines that took Agostini, Auriol and Rossi to world championship victories are also on display. Vittorio Cafaggi, Dainese's corporate communications manager commented: “It is a great honour for Dainese to be invited to take part in this exhibition. We hope that visitors will understand the importance of protecting themselves when taking part in active sports.
Their heroes certainly do and Dainese is keen to promote protection for all!” ‘A TOUTE EPREUVE’ will close on Sunday, 8th August 2010.
