Last weekend (22-24 January) saw Toseland and his fellow competitors testing at Portimao in Portugal in preparation for the first round of the 2010 SBK season to be held at Phillip Island in Australia on 28th February. Wearing TCX for the first time during the test James commented: "First impressions are really good; stability and safety and you get a really good feel through the foot peg to your foot which is good for racing"
Robert Culverwell, Managing Director of UK importers Nevis Marketing commented: "It is great news for TCX to have signed such a high profile rider as James Toseland. It underlines the trust that riders such as James put into the same product that our dealers are selling all over the UK." While this is one of the Italian boot manufacturer's most high-profile rider signings; TCX also provide boots for fellow Brit, Tom Sykes, riding this year for the SBK Factory Kawasaki Team, and some of the fastest men on the 'roads', notably Conor Cummins and William Dunlop.
Britain's James Toseland will be wearing TCX S-Race boots for the 2010 World Superbike championship season, as he embarks on a new challenging ride for the Yamaha Factory Racing Team. The 29-year-old double World Superbike Champion returns to the SBK paddock this season after two years of competing in MotoGP.
