After getting a diagnosis of an inflamed appendix Rossi was informed he would not need emergency surgery and was released a few hours later, this could jeopardise his 2 day planned test next week in Barcelona with Ferrari F1 and also the Sepang official tests between the 3rd and 5th of February.
