“We spoke at length to Ross Burridge at Kawasaki and we think we’ve got a team structure that will see us progress in Junior Superstock and help push forward the careers of these promising riders. One of our guiding principles is always to boost young talent, and with Matt, Freddie and Anthony, we have a really good chance of racing success”.
Matt Bilton of Mirfield in West Yorkshire has already gained valuable experience in the Superstock class and is currently training for the coming season by harnessing the benefits of his great passion, mountain biking. Twenty two year old Freddie Russo from Brentwood in Essex also showed well during 2009 and has impressed Alan Greig with his overall professional approach to racing.
The final member of the three man set up for 2010 is Anthony Heywood who is taking to two wheels on tarmac after success off-road in motocross. In common with his new team mates, Ross Burridge, Racing Coordinator for KMUK, can see great potential.
“Alan wants the team to succeed and for Matt, Freddie and Anthony to progress.
At Kawasaki we applaud this approach and we’re pleased that so many riders at the start of their racing career have chosen the Ninja ZX-6R as their preferred machine”.
With much attention focused on the BSB feeder classes for the coming season, AP Kawasaki have announced their new line up. Following a visit to the recent Carole Nash International Motorcycle Show at Birmingham’s NEC, Team Manager Alan Greig confirmed their ambitious plans.
