It seems that although the company went into voluntary administration this year the Italian system is a little more forgiving the on UK shores and it is business as usual trying to develop new financial input for 2010 - here is the release direct from Moto Morini.
Moto Morini has responded angrily to reports on the internet that it had closed its doors and ceased production. The rumours appear to have started because the factory closed for a public holiday on Tuesday 8th December. The company, which launched its 2010 Granferro 1200 at the Milan show last month, went into voluntary administration earlier this year and is actively seeking new investment ready for the 2010 season.
A spokesman for the company said: “At present Moto Morini is only producing bikes to order while we clear a backlog of machines in stock. The commercial offices, technical, after sales and spare parts departments are all working normally and we remain optimistic about the future.”

Following rumors that stylish Italian bike manufacturers Moto Morini have folded entirely (reported on certain other sites) we are pleased to bring you a factual update from the horses mouth - lets just say that here at Bikechatter the Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce is high on our Xmas list and it is nice to see the bells have not rung just yet!
