Items currently confirmed include an RX-7 GP Colin Edwards replica helmet,
signed by the Yamaha MotoGP rider, and many pieces of racing memorabilia
and money-can’t-buy objects, including the stunning one-off helmet worn in this
year’s Superbike and Senior TT races by Gary Johnson.
Painted by leading helmet painters, Rich-
Art Concepts, the unique RX-7 GP was
designed to celebrate two special Arai
landmarks in 2009; 25 years of fiercely supporting the Isle of Man TT and
25 years of Arai being officially imported into the UK.
These two anniversaries are represented on the range-topping helmet
with the bold red of the Isle of Man Triskelion flag painted on one side and
on the other, the red, white and blue of the Union Flag.
Riders for Health strives to make sure all health workers in Africa have
access to reliable transportation so they can reach the most isolated and
vulnerable people with regular and predictable health care.
As a firm supporter of the award-winning social enterprise, Phoenix and
Arai has helped raise over £15,000 for the charity since 2006.
As well as the first chance to see the 2010 range in the UK (stand 2F35, Hall 2),
Arai are offering its customers free
helmet servicing at the show (stand 2G50 Hall 2).
A full list of the items being auctioned will be available to view shortly on www.whyarai.co.uk
