These will definitely keep you toasty and warm during windy colder weather and nice and dry in the rain as I found out. In warmer weather although not as cool as vented trousers I found they didn't leave me too hot and sticky either.  

If you want to be able to wear other trousers or the thermal layer I would suggest if you believe you are between sizes for normal trousers as I do I would suggest you swallow your pride and go for the larger size.                ]]></description>
