Only the way the various panels have been implemented lets this jacket down though it must be said at just shy of £300 it is not on the cheap side either - something you would expect from a premium brand such as Spyke.

With the stowaway Hi-Visibility bands this ticks a lot of boxes for added safety value and with a wealth of pockets you have plenty of utility for touring.

It remains a comfortable and useful pair of waterproof textile trousers though if you are happy with the slim sizing throughout this range.

For those looking to ride in to a place of business they do look very smart, very plain and able to blend in as general workwear if not under close scrutiny and where the slim fitting is a negative for many aspects of motorcycling really comes into its own in this application.

If you alse add in the fleece thermal layer the jacket can be a bit bulky but if you get comfy riding in it you stay warm.

Ventilation wise this really rocks as a hot weather jacket although the padded neck can stifle a little at a standstill, overall though it shifts loads of air without feeling like you lose protection in important areas so two thuimbs up here.

In the cold and wet you do not suffer at all which is the sign of a good all rounder, the only thing really to watch is the adjustable waist velcro making the back ride up a touch.

That said though it is a waterproof all season jacket that is up to the job, with removable quilted liner it is suitable in the cold too and the Weise WRS (water release system) is a great touch.

The front vent/pocket detail is a little confusing to me though with the pockets being no good as pockets if you are using the vents and so on, if you just use the front waterproof pockets you negate any confusion and it makes the Weise Climate a decent jacket and at a pretty good price.

The climate does not feature any form of ventilation in the form of zippers but remains light and airy regardless, what you do get is a waterproof set of motorcycling jeans that will cope with medium showers even without the removable membrane and heavy rain with it included.

External armour pockets won my opinion though as they are such a nice looking set of jeans nipping off to meet some friends in them did not require a change of clothes to go out in.

These will definitely keep you toasty and warm during windy colder weather and nice and dry in the rain as I found out. In warmer weather although not as cool as vented trousers I found they didn't leave me too hot and sticky either.

If you want to be able to wear other trousers or the thermal layer I would suggest if you believe you are between sizes for normal trousers as I do I would suggest you swallow your pride and go for the larger size.

Loads of pockets and ideal for all seasons thanks to its many layers and ventilation. Brilliant for touring and loads of protection from the rain and wind. A great all round textile jacket I hope to wear again and again.

I really enjoy wearing this jacket, the only tiny niggle is the lack of ventilation but honestly I didn't really overheat even without this so for me this would not be a reason not to buy.

I believe a lot of thought has been put into this jacket and its quality shines through. This is the best all seasons textile I have had the pleasure to wear.
